Terms of Use
These Terms and Conditions are intended to comply with and stipulate matters concerning the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by Jin Eye Center (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’), as well as other necessary matters, in accordance with the Telecommunications Business Act and its Enforcement Decree.
Article 1Purpose
Jin Eye Center User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “this Agreement”) aims to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of members and Jin Eye Center when users utilize the internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”) provided by Jin Eye Center.
Article 2Definition of a Member
“Member” refers to any individual who accesses Sungmo Jin Eye Center, registers as an online member in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, and receives services provided by Sungmo Jin Eye Center.
Article 3Sign Up
① To become a member, applicants must complete the membership information using the registration form provided by Jin Eye Center and submit their application by clicking the “Register” button.
② The membership agreement is deemed established when Jin Eye Center acceptance reaches the applicant.
제4조Service Provision and Changes
① Jin Eye Center provides the following services to its members.
- News Mail Service
- Online Counseling Room/Appointment Service
- Sections and Content Services for Members
- Various services provided in partnership with other companies
② Jin Eye Center may notify members of the details and effective date of any service changes and may provide services in a modified form.
Article 5Service interruption
Jin Eye Center may temporarily suspend service provision in cases such as maintenance, inspection, replacement, or malfunction of computer and other information and communication equipment, or disruption of communication. Furthermore, Seongmo Jin Eye Clinic may completely discontinue the currently provided service based on reasons it deems appropriate, such as switching to a new service.
Article 6Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Eligibility
① Members may request the cancellation of their membership registration (membership withdrawal) at Jin Eye Center at any time, and Seongmo Jin Eye Clinic will immediately initiate the procedures to cancel the membership registration of the relevant member upon receiving such a request.
② If a member falls under any of the following circumstances, Jin Eye Center may restrict, suspend, or revoke the member's membership status by appropriate means.
- In the event that false information is registered during the application process
- In cases where the electronic transaction order is threatened, such as by interfering with the use of the Jin Eye Center website or misappropriating its information
- Using Jin Eye Center to engage in acts prohibited by laws and regulations or these Terms and Conditions, or acts contrary to public order and morals
Article 7Protection of Members' Personal Information
Jin Eye Center strives to protect members' personal information, including registration details, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The protection of members' personal information is governed by relevant laws and regulations and Seongmo Jin Eye Clinic's “Privacy Policy.”
Article 8The Duties of Jin Eye Center
① Jin Eye Center shall not engage in any acts prohibited by laws and regulations or these Terms and Conditions, nor acts contrary to public order and morals. We strive to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
② Jin Eye Center establishes a security system to protect members' personal information (including credit information) so that members can safely use internet services.
③ Jin Eye Center does not send unsolicited commercial emails for profit to its members.
Article 9Member's Obligations Regarding ID and Password
① Except where Jin Eye Center bears responsibility under relevant laws and regulations or its “Privacy Policy,” each member is responsible for managing their own ID and password.
② Members must not allow third parties to use their ID and password.
③ If a member becomes aware that their ID and password have been stolen or are being used by a third party, they must immediately notify Jin Eye Center and follow any instructions provided by Sungmo Jin Eye Clinic.
Article 10Deletion of Public Posts
If the content of a member's public post violates public order and morals, is related to criminal acts, or defames other members or third parties thereby damaging their reputation, Sungmo Jinan Clinic may delete such public post without prior notice to the member and may restrict, suspend, or revoke the membership status of the member in question.
Article 11Copyright Ownership and Usage Restrictions
① All copyrights and other intellectual property rights pertaining to works created by Jin Eye Center belong to Sungmo Jin Eye Clinic.
② Members shall not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use for commercial purposes any information obtained through the use of Jin Eye Center, nor allow third parties to use such information, without the prior written consent of Sungmo Jin Eye Clinic.
Article 12Revision of the Terms and Conditions
Jin Eye Center may amend these Terms and Conditions within the scope permitted by relevant laws, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Transactions, the Electronic Signatures Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization. Members who object to the amended Terms and Conditions may withdraw.
Article 13Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising between Jin Eye Center and its members regarding the use of services shall be filed in a court of the Republic of Korea with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act
These terms and conditions shall be effective from April 15, 2021,until new terms and conditions are issued.
Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of Email Addresses
We hereby refuse the unauthorized collection of email addresses posted on this website using email harvesting programs or other technical devices. Please be advised that violations are subject to criminal penalties under the Information and Communications Network Act.
